Work done refers to the transfer of mechanical energy into or out of a system. It is measured in joules and can change the state or motion of an object.
Power: The rate at which work is done or energy is transferred.
Mechanical advantage: A measure of how much easier a machine makes it to do work.
Conservation of mechanical energy: The principle that states that mechanical energy remains constant in an isolated system as long as no external forces act upon it.
